Temple Battle
Holy Grail
– say yes to sending someone to cut the veins
– It will be an easy battle if you are not under level
– Use highest damage skill/attack (500-700+ attack each turn)

God of Control Yaldabaoth
– destroy the arms once he brings it out
– it’s a long battle but not a tough one if you have the right persona and members for each arm. Bring Soma if you can as SP runs really low halfway through the battle.
– Defense up on first turn when he use divine apex and guard on second turn when its charging. If the arms are low in HP and you are able to finish them in two turns, you can take a gamble and try to down them with AOE attack.
Arm 1 – Gun of Execution
– Reflect wind and gun attack
– Inflict Lust on 1 party member
Arm 2 – Bell of Declaration
– reflect fire and psio
– distorted vanity cause one ally to be weak to all affinities for 1 turn
Arm 3 – Sword of Conviction

Thoughts after playing Persona 5 for the first time
Since I played Persona 4 Golden before Persona 5 (which should be the right order anyway….), I find that P5 has lesser time to spend with Confidants as compared to P4G.
While there are lesser dungeons and quest in P5, the dungeons are really huge and time consuming. I think it is fun to actually explore the dungeon but when one dungeon takes more than 4 hours to complete, it becomes a little draggy especially SP becomes really low towards the end of the Palace.
Battle style, P5 is more innovative than the previous games but I find that the story and cut scene are better in P4G. While I was playing P4G, there wasn’t any urge to skip or fast forward the cut scene but I find myself having to restrain my fingers from pressing that options button on my PS4 controller.
Overall, I definitely did enjoy P5 and will definitely be replaying in NG+ (since I am a sucker for 100% trophy for my PS games…) but I don’t think it is a game I will replay after achieving my trophy achievements.
This whole walk through for my first play is purely from my own experience without any reading any guide. I will be putting up a more detailed NG+ walkthrough since I didn’t manage to max out all my confidants in my first play due to stats requirement constraint.
