Zero Escape ZTD: C-END: 1

This walkthrough is for Zero Escape The Nonary Games: Zero Time Dilemma Endings. Please take note that the walkthrough contains spoilers.

ZTD is a bit different from 999 and VLR. You will be split into 3 teams and you have to play the stories scattered and then slowly piece them together before you can get the whole story for each ending. In this guide, I will split it into a few sections. You will need to follow the sequence in order not to get locked out of the story. There may be various locks and you will be directed to their respective guide.

This is one of the longest route in this game but completing this will actually unlocked almost half the other routes. I will highly recommend you following this guide and complete it as soon as you can. You will also need to jump around a little as some of them requires other ending before you can proceed.

Part 1 – Pre-requisite

  • Execution: Team Q executed

Part 2 – Team C Fragment – Poison

  • Escape Room – Infirmary
  • Decision – Antidote
    • The answer is random so you need to read the answer of their test to find out which is the antidote. I test it twice and both times, the antidote is a different answer. Do check the hints and select the one the Someone felt numb tried but the others did not. For example, Junpei felt numb and Carlos & Akane did not. The only one that Junpei licked and they didn’t is C.

Part 3 – Team D Fragment – Fire

  • Escape Room – Trash Disposal Room
  • Decision – Gun vs Incinerator
    • Shoot Blank & Sigma survives – This is random so you might need to retry a few times before you get it.
    • Get the other 2 endings too before you move on to Part 5 (otherwise Ambidex & D-END: 2 will be locked)
  • Decision – Gift from Gab
    • Drink the Antidote

Part 4 – Team C Fragment – Anthropic Principle

  • Escape Room – Rec Room
  • Decision – The Three Dice
    • Rolls 3 Ones – This is random so you might need to retry a few times before you get it
    • Get the failed ending too as it leads to a shift link
  • The remaining of this fragments are unlocked via Shifting from the other Frags
  • Note: If you are starting from this guide and have not completed Q-END: 1, I will suggest you to go back to complete it before before proceeding, otherwise Ambidex Fragment be locked.

Part 5 – Team C Fragment – Ambidex

  • Note: You must have cleared Part 3 with Sigma dead after shooting a live bullet.
  • Escape Room – Power Room
  • Decision – AB Game
    • You need to Choose Ally and then Betray first to unlock the 3rd option
    • Replay the Decision after getting Ally & Betray ending and the 3rd option will play automatically

Part 6 – Shifting

There will be a lot of shifting involved during this Part of the game. It mainly involves the storyline.

  • Starting from Time to SHIFT (C Team Frag – Ambidex)
  • Shift to Junpei’s Plan (C Team Frag – Anthropic Principle)
  • Shift to The Boy & The Ring (C Team Frag – Anthropic Principle)
  • Shift to Search The Portrait (C Team Frag – Suspicion)

Part 7 – Team Q Fragment – Pop Off

  • Escape Room – Pod Room
  • Decision – Who killed Mira?
    • Don’t Answer, just let the timer run out.
  • The next segment will auto play and you will complete the yellow door story and you can see a hint given on the door “Twin’s birthday”

Part 8 – D-END: 2 (Optional)

Part 9 – Team D Fragment: Suppression

  • Escape Room – Healing Room
  • Decision – Press Button?
    • Choose to not press the button
  • Enter the 6 passwords

Part 10 – Team D Fragment: Transporter

  • You can skip this part if you have completed D-END: 2
  • Escape Room – Transporter Room
  • Decision – Transport or Not?
    • Choose to Transport and Door of Truth Fragment will unlock.

Part 11 – Team D Fragment: Door of Truth

  • Escape Room – Locker Room
  • Decision – Door of Truth Password?
    • Hints are given in the Pop Off Fragment & D-END: 2 ending. The Twin’s date of birth.
    • Twin’s Birthday: 11/16/2029

Part 12 – Team C Fragment: Get Back

  • Start this cinema fragment and you will be shifted to Carlos’s Promise (C Team Frag – Anthropic Principle)

Part 13 – Team C Fragment: Apocalypse

  • Play out the cinema scene and you will get the C-END: 1
  • Lookout for the Lock Box password during the scenes
